A comment on the question "How do I uninstall RescueTime fully in a Mac?" in RescueTime:
Thank you SO MUCH for the clear and complete directions. I once had a nightmare experience with a software program that would never uninstall completely. I am sure RescueTime is a great product; it just wasn't precisely what I needed. Certainly the tech support is splendid! Thank you. – Spurgin, on July 07, 2008 14:08

Sorry it didn't work out for you, here are the steps to removing all traces of RescueTime on the Mac:
Uninstall RescueTime - Mac
- You must first exit RescueTime by clicking on the menu icon (the plus sign) located at the top of your screen next to the clock and selecting "Quit RescueTime"
- Once RescueTime has quit, you can remove RescueTime by going to your Applications folder and dragging the RescueTime.app icon to the Trash
- (Optional) RescueTime stores log files locally on your computer in a directory located at: Macintosh HD:[username]:Library:RescueTime - you can throw that entire directory in the trash if you no longer wish to keep your log files
- (Optional) RescueTime preferences are located at: Macintosh HD:[username]:Library:Preferences:com.RescueTime.plist - you can throw that file in the trash
That should get rid of RescueTime and all of its components.
Thank you!
