I tried all of this with every version and each time it gets back to the "Gathering data..." screen it justs sits there and never moves past that. I even tried 0.0.4 last night to no avail... – Jason, on March 31, 2009 10:50-

Yes - I enter the 4 digit code from the website and it retrieves the long key fine. I press the return key and it asks me if I want to save. I choose save and that is when I get the "Please wait while your data is gathered from Ping.fm" message. There is no close option in the menu, so I can't force the app closed without rebooting the phone. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. If I go out of the application and back in, it seems like it is trying to communicate with the web, but I constantly get that same message no matter what I do. I am running OS 4.7.0.114, so I am not sure if that could be an issue... – Jason, on March 29, 2009 23:01 -

BlackBerry Storm no go with BlackPing...Downloaded both 0.0.2 and 0.0.3 for blackping - installed, created key on ping.fm, went through the process of contacting ping.fm, said it was successful, been stuck on the screen for hours that says "Please wait while your data is gathered from Ping.fm". Nthing wrong with the browser. By the way this is for a Blackberry Storm. -

I had a problem with this last night - just opened a facebook account and tried to add the twitter app and it came up with a bunch of code and error messages....
