Great insight :)

I'd be curious to know what you find rubbish. Right now, I'm the only moderator. I can garauntee you that there is no gaming or nepotism, I actually find that sort of laughable, but hey :P

Either way, Pattern Tap is in much need of upgrading. Its a one man project, and I'm a busy boy, so its been sitting there just being used and enjoyed as is, but we need help from folks like you!

A note to say that my font file syncing did not work afterall, and thankfully I've backed up. So, yes, you should continue to warn all users NOT to sync until Dropbox supports resource forks :)

Pieter, would you consider adding support for changing the location of the vault file in the preferences? This is what the application 1Password does in order to make syncing a more fluid process.

I was able to sync using dropbox, and sym links. I get no 0kb files. The activation on both accounts isn't happening, but isn't necessary for me.

Write if you have questions about how I was able to do it. Its a fairly simple process once you have all the necessary pieces put together.

Pieter, do you know of any tutorial specific to doing this? I tried to create a symbolic link and move the entire fontcase folder (app support/fontcase/) into my dropbox. This made fontcase think that that it was starting over, and believe the was no vault at all.

Any thoughts? I know you don't support dropbox, so I'm just hoping you can point me in the right direction :)

I don't need activation syncing. Just file syncing.

I'm not positive, but I believe that's not an issue to do with FontCase, but rather with the font file itself. I believe it may be improperly "hinted", or its possible that its an adobe conflict. I experience this same problem in photoshop regularly.

If the list view is selected and I open the family tree, if I activate a font in the family, the tree closes, so that I have to open it again if I want to activate more fonts in the family. Very frustrating :(

That's correct. Best way to navigate is by going to the main tap and choosing your filters from there. Thanks for the feedback. That kind of navigation can actually be incredibly complex (look at flickr for example).

There is a "Regular Italic", since this display style has no non italic variation. Perhaps you could expand your query to look for the inclusion of "regular" even if italic is present?

Here's your screenshot :) - you can see its for Zine Slab Display. Which has many varieties of normal display, but includes EXP (numbers/symbols, etc)
