Unable to Add a New ExpenseWhen I try to add an expense, it pre-fills the form with the values of my last one. The problem is, the last expense I added was in an earlier VAT period so it's now locked - the new expense automagically has the same date as the last one so it's also locked and I can't change the date to unlock it.
I know I can get around this by temporarily unlocking the last VAT period but is there a more elegant solution?
Cheers

On a related note, I have some expenses for the last month or two before the end of my last financial year and VAT period. I didn't manage to enter them into FreeAgent in time but I'm on the flat rate scheme - I know that if I unlock that VAT period it will let me add them and it won't affect the values on my VAT return but will it upset figures anywhere else?
Thanks

How about a version of FreeAgent for personal accounts?I love FreeAgent because it's so simple to use and I'd really like to be able to manage my personal accounts with it too. Do you have any plans to make a "home" version available in the future?
Simon Starr asked a question in FreeAgent Central on February 25, 2009 17:57:
VAT Error CorrectionHello,
On the overview of my VAT account, FreeAgent tells me that I underpaid my last VAT return by £34.55 thanks to a mistake I made before I signed up. This means that, for my current return, the amount in the 'Balance due to HMRC' column is £34.55 more than the amount in the liability column (See attached screenshot).
I'd like to add this amount to my current VAT return but I'm not sure how to go about it - can I just add the £34.55 to all the 'VAT due' boxes on the return and add the gross amount for the invoice it came from (£287.87) to the 'Total value of sales' box? How do I account for this within FreeAgent?
For the record, I'm on the flat rate scheme.
Thanks in advance and apologies if I've confused anyone as much as myself!

Timesheet Report TypoThere's a typo on the timesheet reports - if you generate a report for a task during a week or month when you didn't log any hours, the report says "No timelips were created during this period".
I'm not sure what a timelip is but it sounds quite sinister :/

I have a similar-yet-slightly-more-awkward problem...
I also have an invoice with a 1p overpayment that's marked as overdue. Unfortunately it was just a one off and is not likely to ever be reconciled by the client (an agency with a faceless accounts dept. who are fairly inept at the best of times). Short of sending them a cheque for the 1p, is there any way I can deal with this overpayment neatly?-

Typo in fan emailsI've just noticed a typo in the "X is now a fan of you" emails - the subject is OK but the body of the email says "Bob is now fan of you on Plurk.com" without the 'a' between 'now' and 'fan' :)

Why am I following people without meaning to?Looking at my Twitter page this morning, I noticed that I've started following two people who are clearly spammers. I never visited their pages before and certainly didn't ask to start following them.
Is there a hack that allows people to force you to follow them or has someone figured out my password?
