it probably depends on why and how you're reading feeds.

If you're feeds are organized by topics, which are relevant only to moments in your day; then it makes sense.

Say ,you're an organized market intelligence specialist, who uses feeds to keep tab on competition, customers and the market in general, but who also likes to garden during the weekend, and who's a fan of new web 2.0 apps. You probably won't be reading the 'All items' list, but the three folders separately when the time is right.

If, like me, you're just an information freak, you just gulp down posts as they come ... ;o)

It's odd, but based on our beta group, feed-by-feed is actually the use case for about 80% of GoogleReader users. We were really surprised as well. Second runner up was folder views, and last one was 'all items'.

Not sure what to attribute this distribution to, but it's definitely an interesting one.

Yup, that's expected behavior. Having said that, it's on top of our list in terms of 'next feature to enable'. :)

Barthox, even if we didn't have a feed indexed the fist time you opened it, next time you come back, it should be in our system.

Are you seeing PostRank's of 1.0? And if so, what are the URLs of some of the feeds you're seeing this behavior for?

I just realized that the GreaseMonkey IS working ... but for some few feeds, not for all

Apparently, only popular blogs' feeds show it ...

Just wanted to add that I am using FF 2.0.0.13 and don't have Greasemonkey installed and the extension isn't working -- I reinstalled it hoping there was a new version, but when I go to Google Reader nothing happens and there's no AideRSS post-rank number beside the star. I'm using Ubuntu 7.10 if that helps.

As normal, I access Google Reader directly via the navigation toolbar of FFox. I just re-installed and restarted FFox. Same negative results.

Are you accessing Google Reader by going to <http://reader.google.com> or some other endpoint?

There was a bug with some other endpoints that should be fixed in the very-newest (as of 2 minutes ago) version.

I have the same problem: installed AideRSS, restarted Firefox 2.x, restarted GReader and nothing happens.
Of course I have several add-ons but no Greasemonkey.

Okay, so I turned off greasemonkey, entered the activation code, and all appeared well. Now I've turned greasemonkey back on, restarted Firefox and nothing's showing up in GReader.
