But something in IE doesn't like the WP 2.5 / ID combination, I think.

I just upgraded to WordPress 2.5 and posted my first entry using the new version. However, from the main page, only my latest post does not have a Comments link in IE6. I see it just fine in the latest FireFox.

Any ideas?

I think option two would be the most useful to more bloggers.

Some posts, I may simply want to close comments; if they are controlled through an admin panel inside the comments, it would require a post to be published, then the admin has to go to their site, click into the comments, and shut off comments. Meanwhile, a reader using their RSS feed has read the entry and commented. (I've gotten some comments within seconds of posting!)

The first option has its merits, particularly when shutting down comments that may have gotten out of hand or to close a contest but I'm not sure if it's the complete solution.

It's exciting to see Intense Debate grow and flex to meet its users needs. I think this is one of the best commenting systems I've seen!

An HTML link does not work in my comments. I checked through my settings but did not see anything. Is HTML functional in ID?
