Stephen asked a question in New Relic on November 17, 2008 18:29:
Can I see request parameters for errors?I don't see request parameters available in the Errors section. It's great to see the Rails stack and all that stuff, but sometimes knowing what was passed in is 100% necessary for diagnosing the problem. Am I missing something, or is this not available? And, if this is not included for privacy reasons, is there a way to enable it?

Incident TriggersI understand how to set the limits for incident reporting and all that stuff. However, suppose I have my threshold for error reporting set to 10. Is this an average over a certain time period. Under what exact circumstances would this trigger an incident. Also, does the trigger-case differ between Silver and Gold memberships?
Thanks!

Email Alerts for Error Thresholds! This is the one feature that would definitely have me upgrading from Bronze (plus, it's an easy one). So, if I understand correctly, RPM keeps up with errors and will give an alert on the Dashboard and RSS if a certain threshold is met.
Case in point - yesterday a fluke error happened on our server where every single request was causing an error!! If RPM could have sent an email to a special "emergency" email account that I have set up then I would have caught this much sooner. Text message alerts would be cool too, but people can always use those services that turn emails into text messages for that.

Possibly Upgrade ChartsIt looks like you guys are using fusion charts? Anyways, another flash charting solution that integrates well with Rails is amcharts.com. I've messed around with pretty much all the different flash charts, and amcharts is the clear winner in my opinion. They just came out with a new type of chart (stock chart) that appears to be modeled after Google Finance's charts and does an awesome job of displaying data over time (I would love to be able to analyze my Rails apps with these types of charts). These charts would also do a good job of displaying some metadata. For example, I could tag a certain date with something like "Implemented memcached today."

Flexible Date/Time RangesIs there currently a way to view stats over a flexible time/date range? If not, can this be added? It's fine if the range is still limited to 7 days or whatever is necessary.
Also, would it be possible to view some type of request log over the flexible range?

Stephen set one of Stephen's replies as an official response to "Progress Pictures" in Gyminee
Stephen replied on May 30, 2008 20:19 to the problem "Progress Pictures" in Gyminee:
I just tested this out and it worked fine for me. Let me briefly describe the process to make sure that everyone is using this correctly:
After uploading the image, the window will show the message "Nice picture! You still need to review the image settings and click the save button." At this point the picture should be displayed where the upload controls were located. Under the image there are now controls for privacy, date taken, and description. That is also where you should see the "Looks Great! Save it." button which will complete the process of uploading your progress image.
Let us know if you are experiencing anything differently than what I described.

At this point in time, hiding your journal is not available. The settings only allow you to control who can and cannot post to your journal.
Your activity feed also cannot be hidden right now. However, feed items are not created for private goals and other items that you have set to be private elsewhere.
Stephen replied on May 26, 2008 02:42 to the question "Logging push-ups" in Gyminee:
Good question. Technically, you could track your push-ups with your body weight, but what most people do is just leave the weight field empty (I would suggest this also). To keep things flexible, most all fields are optional when tracking your exercises.
I like to think of push-ups as an exercise where you're only tracking reps and sets. Some similar examples would be crunches, body weight squats, and pull ups.
Stephen replied on May 26, 2008 02:37 to the discussion "Food Groups not being updated on Nutrition Log" in Gyminee:
The issue here is that food groups are not set for every food. Food groups are still a work in progress, and they will probably be moved from the main Nutrition page and only live on the Meal Planner at some point. Their original design was to be a tool to help people plan a well-balanced diet using the Meal Planner.
