I think loans are bad idea. I wouldn't be opposed to starting new users at more than 1k. I have suggested the users below 1k, are awarded 100 per day for signing in.

Another idea.
I know hubdub all ready gives us notifications about challenges and friend requests.
I think that they should also give us those notifications whenever someone gives a 'shout' on our wall.

i definitely think its an interesting idea
its certainly worth consideration

im not sure it would be fair to some bc people with a ton of money could then make money a lot faster than people with very little

also the interest rate would have to be pretty minimal so people dont just put all of their money in and stop betting altogether

I think that another feature I would like to see would be like a status bar for each user. SImilar to facebooks status updates where you could enter a status message and on a certain page all of your friends could see it

Highest Net Worth Reached??

I'm thinking that a good addition to each person's profile would be to add a "highest net worth reached". So giving the highest net worth the person had ever reached and on what date it occurred.
Just a suggestion, hoping to be considered!

Strike

Today, 3/14/08 is the last time i will be logging in for awhile because I am beginning an independent strike. Users such as crudsy and orlin have been growing their net worths at pretty much impossible rates. There is no possible way they can increase their net worth soo quickly given the time it takes to settle most bets. Clearly, they either both have several accounts? or maybe they are the same person? this way they can place bets back and forth to sway bets and give higher cash out values. This is completely unfair and ruins the system. I think there needs to be a monitoring of accounts from IP addresses. If there are multiple accounts under a certain IP address than the accounts need to be checked in order to see if the same questions are being bet on. If so, than penalties must be issued.
