A comment on the question "automatic logon" in Xmarks:
Colin,
If there is no way to reload or repair KeyMgr.dll, perhaps Xmarks programmers need to find another way to store and pass the username and password. What is wrong with adding an encrypted file to the setup. This file can easily contain the login info and be securly passed back and forth. This scheme would be workable with any operating system or environment and not rely on processes Xmarks has no control over.
It shouldn't be this hard or take this long to correct.

Update on this problem. My laptop hard drive crashed and I had to replace it. I reloaded XP, did all the updates, etc. Reloaded my programs and of course Xmarks. It now remembers the password. I assume reloading KEYMGR.DLL corrects the problem. I wonder if there is a way to reload KEYMGR.DLL without having to trash the hard drive first ;-). I didn't see much on Microsoft about doing this.

This is evidently what is causing the trouble. My main computer say's, "Windows cannot save logon information. Make sure information is correct and all fields are completed." My laptop does not have the "add" box enabled so I can't even try it there.
I've tried to find info about keymgr.dll but there doesn't seem to be much available. Could this be caused by a security/password protection setting?

There are no entries in this info box. Can I manually enter the information here? It appears that all I need to know would be the server. It would be interesting to see if Password Manager will remember something placed this way.
After checking the above info, I signed out of Xmarks and signed back in. I then checked the password manager again and it was still blank.

automatic logonWhen starting me "main computer" (IE7), the computer always asks for my logon information. My laptop does not. How can I make my main computer automatically logon?
