A comment on the discussion "Tallying costs" in Steven Riggs Software:
What I want to do is see whether the days I have booked to clients into the future will hit my revenue target for each month. So I have a daily charge out rate and I have to bill myself out to clients at least 8 days a month, or for argument sake, for $8,000 per month. Sometimes I will only work half a day but my daily rate is stilled charged, so I would like to be able to note the actual revenue that we will be receiving on that day rather than just calculating it based on hours worked. Then I would like to be able to tally the actual amounts and see them on a monthly basis. Hope that makes things clearer. – Shawn, on October 09, 2008 05:41

Thanks for the feedback! Version 2.0 will have multi calendar support. It will be a free upgrade for all paid customers. It's about a month out from completion. – Steve, on September 30, 2008 17:17

But out-of-the-box the one thing I would like is a "All" option for the calendar pop-up. Particularly when I am looking for an event it would help to be able to search through all calendars...
And on that note... the "All" shown in the search pop-up refers only to the fields that should be searched... it should really be called "All fields" ;-)

Well you didn't get it wrong but I use TimeTable for a quick check on hours and then use Bento for the final billing summary. Why... because I have a pop-up of customers and can add a check mark that that event is "to be billed" - not all work may neccessary be billable. I also have situations where if several of us are present the hours need to be multiplied by the consultants (so again a check mark against the consultants). All of this could potentially be done in TimeTable but currently is not - if you want more details, contact me :-)

I used to have this problem but mine was a more subtle flicker that became obvious when the brightness was down a bit. I believe ALL macbooks have this same problem, people just keep the brightness all the way up so they don't notice it. Anyways, I think upgrading to Leopard solved it. Apple should replace the software drivers in the earlier versions of OSX. But they won't admit there is a problem so it is unlikely they will address it.

Over time, the problem will get worse. At least mine did. I let it go for a year before I got it fixed because it wasn't that bad. Just before I took it in, it was really bad. New devices come with a 1 year warranty I think. Get it repaired if you can. – Steve, on July 06, 2008 00:09

Hello from the developer...I thought I would kick this off by asking some questions. I am in the middle of figuring out the roadmap for TimeTable. I have a lot of great suggestions from you folks that I’m going to get implemented in upcoming releases. I’m hoping that an open discussion will help to make sure I’m getting what people are looking for. I’m really excited to see what you all have to say. Thanks for stopping by!
All the best,
Steven Riggs
