Steve Barsh replied on September 03, 2008 04:11 to the question "Many users having the same trouble with IChat connection" in Apple:
Go into your iChat preferences, go the the Accounts area, select the Server Settings, and try selecting the Use SSL option (which will change the server you use -- mine shows slogin.oscar.aol.com). Try that along with using port 5190. These settings work for me to fix exactly the same problem. Hope that helps.

Invite for an Entourage 2008 Calendar Entry is not sentOn one of our Macs, using Entourage 2008, when I try to invite someone to a calendar entry, it brings up the "select email / recipient," but when I select the person it does NOT send the invite (but the person is tied to the cal entry). On one of our Macs with Ent 2008 it works fine (the button changes from Invite to Send now. On our other Mac, the button just keeps saying "Invite". Any ideas?

I appreciate your reply and I've look at all of those tutorials in the past. But they don't tell me where there is stock graphic images / clip art that I can use. Microsoft PowerPoint has an extremely large and extensive clip art library that I can pull from (both online and offline libraries). Do I get anything like that will Keynote?-

Photosynth crashing IE7 on Mac with Parallels and WindowsI am using Parallels on my Mac with OS/X and running Windows XP. Running IE7 under this evironment (Mac -> Parallels -> Windows XP) Photosynth would install, but IE7 would crash each and every time I would try to actually use the application in IE7. Is anyone else having this problem? Any ideas?-

Steve replied on July 28, 2008 17:57 to the question "Should I stay in Deer Valley or Park City?" in MyVacationhome.com:
Deer Valley is located within the municipality of Park City (think of Deer Valley as a suburb of Park City). You can get between Park City and Deer Valley in 5 - 10 minutes by car or the free, highly efficient, extremely punctual, Park City bus transit system that covers both Park City and Deer Valley.
Staying in Deer Valley
If you will be doing the majority of your skiing at Deer Valley Resort we would recommend that you stay at a ski-in/ski-out Deer Valley location. It's a 5 - 10 minute car or free Park City bus ride to Park City as well as Park City Mountain Resort and The Canyons.
Upper Deer Valley, the nicest section of Deer Valley, is where Deer Valley Resort's Silver Lake Lodge is located. Upper Deer Valley is located about half way up the Deer Valley Resort mountain. In the Silver Lake Lodge area there are several ski rental companies. As well, there are a number of superb restaurants and shops. Upper Deer Valley also has a Deer Valley Resort ticket office.
Staying in Park City
Staying in Park City means you can be ski-in/ski-out to Park City Mountain Resort (if you stay at a ski-in/ski-out location) and at the same time you can be right next to the majority of restaurants, shops, galleries, coffee shops, etc. in an authentic western silver mining town dating back to the 1800's.
Many people like having everything at their fingertips and choose to stay in Park City while others prefer to be away from the "hustle/bustle" of "town" (if that's the right word when no building is over about 3 stories) and would rather be "up in the woods and quiet" of Deer Valley. If you are in Park City, you are also a 5 - 10 minute car or free Park City bus ride to Deer Valley Resort or The Canyons.
When considering Park City, don't confuse staying in Park City with staying at Park City Mountain Resort. The Park City Mountain Resort has its own built up "resort town/area" at the bottom of the main ski lifts/runs. This is not the "charming" Park City, but rather the center of the ski resort (a typical western "ski resort village"). Many people prefer to stay along Main Street in the heart of the original Park City where, if they are staying at one of the Park City ski-in/ski-out locations, they can have the best of both worlds (ski-in/ski-out and great access to all the great restaurants, shops, etc.).
