I have the same problem except X-marks did initially show up in IE, but now 3 - 4 days later it has disappeared from IE. I tried un & re-installing but under Tools where X-marks had a menu item their is now nothing?
This is happening on my laptop on XP +SP3 & was installed under full computer administrator, the only account set up on the PC?
Strange...
