Not a feed issue, but a hosting issue. Unsure why, but Libsyn is appending the strange names on the back end. We've asked them why, as I'm sure lots of other media producers have done. iTunes seems to handle this without an issue, but I'm sure some of the smaller podcatchers are giving problems. We'll find out more.

I'm using Juice (on XP) as my podcatcher and am getting the same file naming change, which has only occurred in the last week or so. Not really a problem for me, as I rename all the files anyway. Does suggest it's a feed issue though.

Try downloading the episode directly from this page: http://podiobooks.com/title/infamy

Could be a caching problem, so you might have to restart your browser.

Just downloaded it and the problem is still there; blank air after the intro. Shouldn't the upload date have changed on the episode list? Or is the new file not yet reflected in what's available to the podcatcher?

I still have those two files from the original 2006 download saved away. The ID3 tags are stripped out and the files renamed to suit my setup but, other than that, files are as issued. If Evo lets me know if he wants them, I'm happy to oblige.

Looks like Mur used underscores instead of dashes when she named the file. I should have caught it. Didn't. Now fixed. Give it an hour or so to refresh the cache.
