A comment on the question "Building an inventory" in Delicious Monster:
Thanks Jessie. The best way I've found to achieve what I'm after is to add note to each iTunes purchase (I can do them all at the same time) and then build a smart shelf that uses that note as one criteria.
That way I can build a smart shelf that lists physical CDs + Amazon MP3 albums + iTunes purchases.

Problem viewing FavoritesI've noticed that when I open Darkslide on the favorites tab, or switch to it, the application shows the 'Loading' indicator but never completes loading. If I close the application then reopen it will crash but does not seem to be generating crash reports in:
~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/MobileDevice/Steve’s Phone/Darkslide_2009-09-09-124501_Steves-Phone.crash
All the other options appear to be working correctly and I am still able to upload without any problems.
Edit: It was generating crash reports - emailed to connectedflow.com.

Building an inventoryIs there anyway to build a smart shelf in DL2 that will list only those music items in iTunes that were NOT ripped from CD?
I want to build a list of all my music which includes all my CDs (many are already in iTunes too) and music bought from Amazon and iTunes. If I have a CD that's also in iTunes I don't want it to reappear.
Any thoughts?
A comment on the question "Darkslide unresponsive with one group" in Connected Flow:
Basically waiting for the group photos to load. In other groups these appear fairly quickly and I can navigate away to, say, my photos while the thumbnails are loading. In The Edinburgh Chain group loading of thumbnails is much longer and I can't navigate away - pressing the home screen does not take me back to the launcher page immediately either. – SteveH, on April 27, 2009 06:54

Darkslide unresponsive with one groupIs there any reason why Darkslide should become unresponsive with a Flickr group? I have noticed this with The Edinburgh Chain group while all the rest of my groups appear to be fine. The main thing I can think that is unique aboutthis group is that all the photos have notes.

Darkslide crashesWhen I was using Darkslide today to browse nearby photos the application crashed a number of times when first opened. While this was repeatable the application now functions correctly again. The only factor I noted that might be associated was that network coverage was poor at the time (i.e. 'o' rather than '3G') and that I was opening the app at the Nearby tab to use location services to browse nearby photos.
The application window opened but did not put the tab bar on the screen so that the window was white with only the status bar at the top shown correctly. I will send rash reports separately.

Darkslide crashing when openedI have updated Exposure to Darkslide this morning but the application crashes each time I try to open it. It will briefly open the application, display the 'My Photos' tab (presumably a static PNG?), then switch to the 'Nearby' tab and acquiring location then crash and return to the home screen.
I have rebooted the iPhone to see if that clears the problem but it makes no difference.

FlickrExport and TextPanderIn addition to Flickr Export for Aperture I also have TextPander running on my system and just noticed that text that is auto-corrected or replaced in TextPander does not work in the FlickrExport editing panels.

SteveH replied on July 13, 2008 11:54 to the idea "More power in filling Flickr fields" in Connected Flow:
This would be incredibly useful to me too. I use the Apple Aperture Caption Palette applescript almost like a HUD to work through and add captions to images but this puts the data into the IPTC caption field. I wonder if adding one more selection to the Auto-fill preferences would cover the majority of users requirements between Caption, Headline and Version name?
SteveH asked a question in Connected Flow on May 11, 2008 18:31:
Keywords and TagsShould exported tags match keyword in more properties?
I exported some photos from Aperture and stripped out some of the keywords so that they would not become Aperture tags. Although the tags reflected the changes (the ones I had stripped out were removed) when I went into 'more properties' all of the original keywords were still listed.
Has this always been the case?

Thanks for the pointer. That has got me to a solution that is allowing me to upload as a workaround.
I am with Virgin Media (formerly Blueyonder) and recently found that I was unable to connect to my del.icio.us bookmarks unless I used a blueyonder proxy server. Similarly other Virgin Media users I know had exactly the same problem. I raised this with tech support and it was escalated and then magically fixed. I couldn’t see and reason why one HAD to use a proxy to connect to a site.
While I couldn’t upload a single image to Flickr tonight once I enabled the proxy connection in network prefs I was able to upload six with no problem. Again, I don’t see why I should have to do this.
It sounds like Flickr are on the case which is a good thing as I imagine they have the clout to get it fixed. I will contact them again in any case.
Cheers.

Aperture crashing during Flickr exportAperture is crashing during export using b23. I am exporting Raw images from an EOS 40D and Aperture is crashing with no warning or error message each time this is repeated.
The OS is 10.5.2 and Aperture is version 2.1 with b23 installed.
