Hi titleist731,
Can you please send me one of these files to steve@pokercopilot.com?

What folder are the hand histories in? Have you used Poker Copilot's preferencs to add that folder?
Are there any error messages in Poker Copilot?
What version of Poker Copilot are you using?

Hi Guglielmo,
The best way to reset the Poker Copilot database now is to select from the Poker Copilot menu, File -> "Reset Database".

Steve McLeod replied on November 07, 2009 10:33 to the problem "Bug in tourney summary import" in Poker Copilot:
Hi Spazzer,
People sometimes copy enormous e-mails into the clipboard (200 games each with 10,000 players, for example!). It was then crashing Poker Copilot when they tried to paste it. So my work-around was to only show a preview of the clipboard.

Steve

Steve McLeod replied on November 04, 2009 20:02 to the problem "Bug in tourney summary import" in Poker Copilot:
Hi Spazzer,
Okay I think I understand what's going on. The "PokerStars Tournament Results..." screen in Poker Copilot only gives you a preview of the beginning of the clipboard contents. When you click on "Process" the whole clipboard is processed.
I think I need to make this clearer in Poker Copilot.

Steve

Spazzer,
Can you copy the e-mails and paste them into textedit without problem? If so, does the entire text get copied?
What software do you use to read your e-mail? Mac OS X's Mail, or another program, or a web browser interface?
How big are the SnGs you are playing? 9 player mostly?

Steve

Steve McLeod replied on October 27, 2009 10:25 to the question "How do I get an update for the latest version of Poker Copilot?" in Poker Copilot:
Hi Alberto,
Poker Copilot 2 is a new product, and requires a paid upgrade from Poker Copilot 1.
You can upgrade here for $29.95: https://sites.fastspring.com/barbary/...
If you are not ready to upgrade, don't worry. Poker Copilot 1 still works, is still supported, and will be for the foreseeable future.
It doens't maintain the HUD properties because the HUD has a lot of changes in version 2.

Steve

Steve McLeod set one of Steve McLeod's replies as an official response to "Why are Total Winnings at -$17 million?" in Poker Copilot
Steve McLeod replied on October 27, 2009 09:58 to the question "Why are Total Winnings at -$17 million?" in Poker Copilot:
Wow, you seem to be having a bad downswing...
Just kidding! Full Tilt made some changes to the hand history file format recently, which confuses Poker Copilot when you win entry to a tournament.
The next Poker Copilot update will have a fix for this.
In the meantime you can manually edit the tournament result to fix this. In Poker Copilot's Tournament Summary, find the tournament with the -$17 million result. Rick-click on it, select "Get Info", and you can change the amount you won.

Steve

Steve McLeod replied on October 26, 2009 16:39 to the question "2.16 Non Functional since force quit after processor wheel spinning endlessly, tried recovering and rebuilding 140k-hand data base several times, have had JAVA errors and once I load all the hands it just has the spinning star wheel with the cancel button, 2.16 had been running fine." in Poker Copilot:
Hi there,
Sorry about the delay in answering. I was out of town for the weekend.
It's a known problem with our database engine since 2.15, that it sometimes takes a few minutes and more to load up. I hope to have a fix for this soon. The best thing when starting Poker Copilot is just to be patient, and wait for Poker Copilot to open.
Regards,
Steve
