This typically happens when you have a phone or carrier that strips out your subject and replaces it with an advertisement for the company. We are currently working on resolving the issue.

Example:

You write: "Picture of my Cat"
Your mobile carrier sends: "Derek sent you a picture from his TMobile Phone!"

A comment on the problem "Twitpic not posting to Twitter" in TwitPic:

Same solution- go onto your computer, log out of Twitpic and relog back in. When your Twitter password gets out of sync with your Twitpic password, we can no longer post to Twitter on your behalf. Relogging fixes the problem. – Steve Corona, on November 11, 2009 15:11

You can typically fix this issue by logging out of Twitpic and relogging back in. Email us at support@twitpic.com if you are still having this issue.

As you know, this issue is caused by incompatible advertising and branding added to your mobile emails by the carrier. We hope to address issues with Virgin Mobile and Rogers in the near future.

Unfortunately, it's not as simple as adding some calls to ImageMagick due to the way that we store the photos. We will release this feature when we are confident that it works correctly with our photo storage system.

It sounds like a problem with your phone. Are you e-mailing the picture to us or using the website from a mobile browser?

Sometimes, due to issues with Twitter, comments don't make it from Twitpic to Twitter. You will need to post the comment manually when they don't appear on your public timeline.
