Can't POST an image through REST API , please helpHi, I am using the REST API and I am able to get everything to work, including posting notes. However when I try to post an image I always get a 400 response with "Something went wrong".
I am using CURL via PHP to post an image file. I have pushed files to other API's before however it doesn't seem to work for Brightkite.
Any help would be appreciated as I want to get Brightkite integrated with our service.
Thanks!
StevenNestell replied on September 15, 2008 13:38 to the question "How can I delete my account at Pikchur?" in Pikchur:
Hey,
I can remove the account for you, however, for security purposes you will need to provide a security code located in your "account dashboard". This process will eventually be automated, but for now follow the steps:
1. login with whatever service you signed up with and go to the "account dashboard" ( You can get to this by clicking on 'settings' on top menu or underneath your badge)
2. If you have multiple accounts synced with us remove them all until you get to the last 1. (red x )
3. When attempting to remove the last account you will get a small text window with a security code and an email address to email the code to.
Let me know if you have any further questions, or this didn't work out for you.

Can't get Brightkite OAuth API to workHey, I am trying to use the Brightkite OAuth API and I am having some trouble.
I can't seem to get an initial RequestToken. I tried both a POST and
GET and I always receive an "Invalid OAuth Request". I triple checked my
initial app key and secret, and everything seems to be fine.
Anyone else had this problem? I use OAuth for a number of other
services, and I have no problem with requesting and authorizing.
Thanks.

Yeap, in the works :-) We are getting a couple of OAuth enabled services up, one of them is Flickr! Thanks for your input! – StevenNestell, on September 02, 2008 21:10
A comment on the question "Bug I think" in Pikchur:
I usually monitor the Pikchur twitter, I am not so much of a twitter addict, believe it or not. But Emmanuel or Peter ( founders ) have one @jewgonewild, @orical , more than welcome to add them.
Thanks again and Let me know if everything is working out so that I can close the ticket. – StevenNestell, on August 30, 2008 13:17

Hey Steve, by default they are set to public. Private just means that they won't show up on the homepage or your public profile. They will post to whatever accounts you have synced though ( unless you disable posting 4 those in your account dashboard) , thereby being only accessible via direct URL to the pikchur.
Hope this answers everything, Happy Piking! :-) – StevenNestell, on August 30, 2008 13:13

Hi, first off really sorry for your "vanishing profile" issue, I looked in to it and you should be good 2 go from now on (just login with your twitter account and you should be fine).
You have 2 photos waiting to be posted, please let me know if you want your queued photos to be uploaded , along with their respective status messages.
In addition, do you mean the IE security box? If so, when do you see this security box? Only when you log in ?
Thanks for using Pikchur.com, we are really glad you like the service, and thanks again for being patient as these issues do occur sometimes, although rare.

Robin, I have identified the issue. You were trying to sync your Rejaw with your email account as your username. We do not authenticate with any email accounts at the moment except for Tumblr.
I put a bug report in for that error that you had so that people don't try to sync with their emails.
All you need to do now is sync your Rejaw account using your Rejaw username instead of the email!
Hope this helps and let me know if the issue is resolved so I can close this ticket :-)
Thanks,
Steven
