Dude,
Get real these people are trying to help you, my DH bike came with only a one year warranty as do almost all free ride DH bikes. I have noticed it is the small custom companies who give the good replacement deals. The only bike I have kept in one piece over the years is a ti xc bike with no jumping. MC provided me with top notch wholesale replacement frame purchased under the old owners (that many US companies do not do). Most sponsored riders are lucky to get frames at that cost and they have to climb through hoops. SO if they are offering you complete replacement, I would recomend getting a raft and paddling it to California, because John bent over backwards to help me. I did not get paid for this reply - I am just happy to have a very affordable replacement bike when most people I know replace their suspension rides every 2-4 years at full cost

I am curious
Was this bike purchased under the old owners. I had some major issues withone of their sales staff when I ordered mine. I just had the frame warrantied through the US dealer, and they cut me more slack on return shipping while providing excellent service. NOTE: I had to go for a Fury instead of a DNA because of lack of replacements. No biggy since I now have a deicated DH and needed a fast suspension trail bike.
Stewart replied on June 14, 2009 01:02 to the question "san andreas dna shock lengths" in Mountain Cycle:
I had a DNA and used this sizing in my air shock to match the overall length (the feel of the bike and BB height) of the slightly longer travel coil shock. If you only have or need one shock the the 7.5 will give you a slightly lower BB. You may find the longer travel position will create too much leverage for an xc shock. Play with it - that is the cool thing about the DNA. I miss the longer super smooth travel and light weight of the DNA, but MC provided great warranty service with a fury at a very reduced cost for the DNA even though it was bought from the old owners and a shop that was no longer in business (Ridden in Dh race series and epic xc). NOTE: John is a patient saint and a blast to deal with
