Anthony reported a problem in Songbird on April 20, 2009 00:15:
Favorite stations don't play anymorei have 33 favorite stations in that playlist, and recently now when i double click on any station they do not play, i either get the loading indicator or just the little shoutcast lightning bolt.
I'm using Ubuntu 8.04LTS and Songbird is 1.1.1, Build 1018 (20090309145106), it is also happening under Songbird 1.1.2, Build 1042 (20090331141709) too. (I updated to see if that would fix it. nope)
Anthony replied on March 20, 2009 23:34 to the problem "5.1 Sound Not Working. Rear speakers quiet." in Songbird:
My issue is with a Ubuntu 8.04LTS and Sound Blaster Audigy and I have test the speaker setup with:
1speaker-test -Dplug:surround51 -c6 -l1 -twav
And my speaker config works fine, I have tested the speakers also in LastFM program and others and sound comes out 5.1.
I should add that I'm currently only streaming audio via ShoutCast, all my music is on my WinXP machine that crashed a few days ago.-
