Daniel shared an idea in I want Sandy on August 03, 2008 15:31:
Google Calender appointments in Daily DigestHi, I'm already very glad that Sandy provides a calendar that I can subscribe to in gCal. But the other way round would suit me even better. Have you guys thought about an option to subscribe to multiple Google calendars from within Sandy? This is my situation:
- My wife and I share Google calendars. (She likes gCal so introducing her to Sandy is not an option.)
- I use SpanningSync to sync gCal and iCal. (I like iCal, so fully switching to Sandy is not an option for me either.)
- I'd love to have a single page that's frequently updated and shows all my to-do's and appointments from Sandy and gCal.
So couldn't I just provide Sandy with the private URLs of my calendars in gCal so she can import the appointments into my daily digest? Perhaps she could even remind me of them one day. That would be great.

Daniel replied on March 29, 2008 02:00 to the idea "Suggest a Satisfaction question as solved" in Get Satisfaction:
I'd allow both the customer or the company set the "solved" status, but as long as the customer did not agree, show an unobtrusive "unconfirmed" badge. Because to me as a customer, regarding the status, it really matters when the poster doesn't confirm. Why he isn't *satisfied*
My suggestions:
- "unanswered" (initial)
- "in the works" (company)
- "solved (unconfirmed)" (company)
- "solved" (poster)
A little more food for thought:
- You can now mark posts in "problem" threads as useful. Is that useful? To me, as a customer, such posts are only useful if they *solve* the problem. So in such threads you could call them "worked for me" instead. They are only "useful" to developers.
- If you call them "worked for me" you could automatically set the thread status to "solved" when a solution worked for a certain number of people.
I think it's important to put customers in control of this part of the process. That's what attracted me to this site in the first place.

Daniel reported a problem in plasq on March 25, 2008 01:33:
Dock icon always showingSince the latest update Skitch did always appear on the dock. I had to edit the plist file as described here:
http://getsatisfaction.com/rescuetime...
This made the dock icon disappear, but there is another annoying issue. I am always asked whether I *really* want to open that program on launch, as it was downloaded from the internet. That message should only show once, not always.

I don't know much about JavaScript either. It would be cool if you could give the callback function the ID as argument, but I don't know if that's possible.
Is it possible to copy the script, add another callback function, change the UL ID both in the script and in the HTML code, and upload it somewhere else? I tried to test this locally, but it didn't work. Again, I know nothing about JavaScript.
