Daniel replied on November 30, 2007 04:13 to the question "how to burn multiple playlists to a CD in iTunes?" in Apple:
Sure! First, a screenshot:

When you go to your "~/Music/iTunes/iTunes Music" folder you probably see your audio files organised in a structure like "Artist/Album/Song". iTunesFS does more. When you start it, it mounts a virtual drive containing the folders Artists, Albums, Compilations, and Playlists. So you are way more flexible in accessing your media library from outside iTunes. You could, for instance, use a script to schedule automatic backup jobs for special parts of your library.
It relies on Google's MacFUSE package which, according to its project page, allows for file systems to be mounted in user space. As far as my understanding goes, this means that anyone can write programs to access or create file systems, whether they be real or only virtual (like iTunesFS).
Take a look at the iTunesFS project page. There you'll find a bigger screenshot, and install instructions. To speed things up a bit, I'll post the essential links here directly, but don't rely on me to keep them updated as time progresses. You'll have to MacFUSE first, as iTunesFS relies on it.

- MacFUSE setup file for Tiger or Leopard
- iTunesFS setup file
Hope this helps!

So now you've got Amazon under the hood. It works perfectly for me most of the time, although I still have to use Google Images on (very!) rare occasions.
CoverScout uses Amazon AND Google, and it also supports the iSight camera for shooting your covers, but:
(A) It's commercial, and the added value, compared to free software, is low
(B) The trial sucks. It displays only the top albums, and Amazon search doesn't work. I wouldn't want to take the risk of buying software that doesn't even work in the full version.
(C) The quality of covers snapped with the iSight is certainly very low (think of the colors).
Daniel replied on November 29, 2007 07:23 to the question "How do I display multiple HTML badges on my site? I only appear to be able to display one user at a time." in Twitter:
I have the same problem, and no matter what I do to the badge code they provide - I can't get it to work. The second badge always appears where the first one should be. But not in Firefox! Only Safari and IE, but that's bad enough, isn't it.
Perhaps one could download and change the js file, and upload it somewhere else for fixing?
Daniel replied on November 29, 2007 07:12 to the question "is it better that i always keep my macbook plugged in?" in Apple:
Your MacBook should not use the battery when it's plugged in, so YES it saves battery life.
One thing that reduces battery life is heat, because chemical reactions (aging) inside the battery run faster. On my old Dell I always used to take out the battery when it was plugged in, but since it's harder to take it out of the MacBook I leave it in now.

I rip my CDs with iTunes (MP3 192kbit/s). It works perfectly, it's easy and I love the way iTunes organises my music collection. It also integrates very nicely into the rest of OS X, e.g. Front Row.
You can also use something like Corripio or FetchArt to retrieve the albums' covers (and even lyrics) from the web.

Daniel shared an idea in Get Satisfaction on November 29, 2007 06:51:
Suggest a Satisfaction question as solvedSometimes people's questions are answered, but they don't mark them as solved. This is annoying, because when you display many questions in a list you don't instantly see if they contain a solution that definitely works.

Perhaps iTunesFS helps you burn MP3 or data CDs. It mounts your media collection as another drive with albums, artists and everything as folders.
