Well, that's easy. Just uninstall I-Tunes! Lol, no just kidding.. If your I-Tunes opens automaticly , you'll have to disable this. On XP it works this way:
select file>preferences>automatic actions(or something). There should be an option to disable anything from starting when you connect your i-pod. Then rescue your songs and start using your files how you want them to..

Wouldn't it make it all faster also? I mean if it's not trying to load the entire library?

Thanx for the fast reply. Sorry my question wasn't very defined. Playing a single song is possible (just hit repeat one) but adding a single song to the now-playinglist isn't. This is what I meant and doing so would be most logical with a double click on it

No, it just plays the library or a playlist. It would be so nice if you could just play one song because you'll be able to play a sort of 'temporarily playlists', and you would be making better usage of the Now-playing add-on (which will be integrated soon, I've seen).

ATM moment it's not possible to play just one song (it plays a playlist or the library). If you wanna play just one or two songs creating a new playlist works best (which isn't very usable).

This could be changed in double clicking a playlist (or the library) and then playing it. When you double click a song it should just play that song. In this way the possibility to play all or a playlist is maintained and the possibility to play one song is added!

I hope this will be implemented cause it seems like a very good option to me (WMP and many others work that way!)
