It looks like your Javascript is fine. It correctly shows and hides your menu. The problem seems to be a rendering bug in Internet Explorer.
This could be caused by many things.
For one your code does not validate Click here to see validation
You can try wrapping your uls with divs and use the menulink id on the div rather than the ul.
Can't make any promises, but it's worth a shot.-
