by the way recall is only for the battery for this particular notebook.

the only thing you can do is to check if you can do a Bios udapte and if that does not work it might require a motherbard replacement -

HI i hope Bios update was done earlier for the same issue. just wanted you to check if u can connect a external monitor and try to view the desktop on the external monitor.. by doing this we can check if its problem with the LCD or with the Motherboard.
