How to post a Seesmic video on FoodzieIt's SO much fun and really cool for Foodzie food producers to see you enjoying their food in real time.
I thought it might help to lay out the steps for recording a Seemic video using your webcam, which is built into our commenting system:
Here's an example of one I recorded: http://happygirlkitchen.foodzie.com/s...
1) Visit the product page you want to record a video for.
2) Log in if you're not logged in. If you sign in using your Facebook account you can instantly share your video on Facebook too!
3) Below Post a New Comment click "post a video comment"
4) Sign in or sign up with Seesmic, right there on the screen.
It is very easy to record videos once you're signed into Seesmic, and you can watch them and publish or re-record them.
5) Once it's recorded, you need to enter your name and email to post the comment - which will have the embedding code for the video.
And voila, your video will appear as a comment on your favorite food product pages!
A comment on the question "what sort of licenses are required to sell?" in Foodzie:
Hi Tom,
I'm not sure exactly what you're asking. Please email or give me a call to chat - 415-404-6498. The people who run commercial kitchens can often answer those types of questions since that's their business. I notice you're in CA, so this link might help too as far as the food preparation question: http://ucfoodsafety.ucdavis.edu/From_...
Hope this helps & look forward to chatting if you like! – Susie, on September 18, 2009 17:33

Hi Tom,
Thanks for asking! You need whatever your state and local city/town requires for you to operate as a commercial food business. It varies all over the map. Hope that helps and feel free to email me directly - susie@foodzie.com
Cheers

It turns out they're short on honey and only selling at the farmer's market. So you're lucky if you're in Chicago! – Susie, on September 17, 2009 17:43

Love it! Funny I just read an article in the Chicago Tribune about honey cake in which they were talking about local honey, so this is a nice coincidence :) – Susie, on September 17, 2009 16:08
