try typing in your whole email address in the box..... so it would be like "username@gmail.com" in the box, AND also select gmail in that little box to the right.

Definitely has not worked for me on either my Yahoo or Google accounts. It either tells me that my account is invalid, or that I have no contacts. How irritating.
