Just so you know: Apple isn't currently selling the iPhone online from their own store. I've walked by my local Apple store in San Francisco for the past four days, and the line has been around the corner every time. I'd love to get one, but I simply won't wait in line. I figure they'll sell out before I get one anytime soon.

What is the general day-to-day availabliity of the 3G iphone? I'm in Dallas and the AT&T stores don't have them, and Apple's website says the stores are out. What gives? Also, if I order it online, do you have any idea if there are enough 3Gs to fill my order a.s.a.p? Thanks!
