swggy shared an idea in HelloTxt on November 11, 2009 03:20:
Update Hellotxt from my Twitter accountInstead of updating Hellotxt via Twitterfeed (which sends messages TO Twitter), I'd like to get messages FROM Twitter - which I'm on already - and have HelloTxt forward all my Tweets onto my other services. Don't see any way to do that yet, but having written Twitter apps it's not that complicated...-

consider decluttering tweet cloudsin the tweet clouds, suggest you remove filler words such as 'the' & 'true', as well as wds less than 3 chars such as 'it', 'ok', 'yr' and '@' (on its own) to declutter.

well-designed siteOne of the best-designed and focused sites I've bumped into.
swggy reported a problem in Skribit on March 28, 2009 19:48:
Why can't I get rid of that 'lightbox'?Running on WP 2.7, used the autoinstaller to load Skribit - can't get rid of the lightbox. Tried unchecking the box on the options screen (repeatedly!) - just gets turned back on again when I hit 'update settings'. I'm removing Skribit - let me know when you've fixed this & I'll give it another try if I haven't found something else.
swggy reported a problem in Twitter on January 29, 2009 21:13:
api call 'test' doesn't anymore.According to the current Twitter REST API here - http://apiwiki.twitter.com/REST+API+D... - there is an API call that was set up to test - presumably to test that Twitter is up. Here's the writeup on it -
> Help Methods
> test
>
> Returns the string "ok" in the requested format with a 200 OK HTTP status code.
>
> URL: http://twitter.com/help/test.format
>
> Formats: xml, json
Today it has suddenly started returning this:
[url] => http://twitter.com/help/test.json
[content_type] => text/html; charset=iso-8859-1
[http_code] => 301
Which jumps to this page: http://help.twitter.com/portal
This is strange behaviour - it has worked fine for the past week. Other API calls seem to work - looks like someone just messed with the site address.

Response to Gadi: OK - works in FF3.0 & IE7, but not in Opera9.6. Checking the error console, it appears that there’s some sort of a loop going on with a lot of iterations and eventually Opera comes up with this message: “Too many CSS errors... bailing out.”
However, if FF & IE work, I’m surprised that Opera doesn’t. It might be worth someone at your end checking this out.
I've just upgraded to WP 2.7 and the problem still persists.
Attempting a workaround, I tried putting the rating at the top of the post, but it stays at the bottom in FF & IE. Any thoughts on that?-
