Last.fm is restricting 3rd party players from accessing there radio. The only software (that they want to work) is the offical last.fm scrobbling software.

I'm pretty sure I read something like that a while back.

Songbird was made to ignore "The" at the beginning of artists' names. It treats artist such as 'The Beatles' as "Beatles, The". Thats why "The Beatles" comes before "Taylor Swift".

Try using the FocusTrack plugin (http://addons.songbirdnest.com/addon/...). With it, when your song changes songbird will focus on the new song and will display the albumart of the currently playing (and now focused) song.

Try using Mp3tag (http://www.mp3tag.de/en/) and convert the tags from id3v2.4 to id3v2.3, then make the file read only. Windows and therefore WMP don't support id3v2.4 unfortunately, but they do support id3v2.3.

Songbird is awesome!

I love songbird! Was looking for something to replace WMP for a while, and was told about songbird. Haven't really looked back since. Other players like WinAmp and iTunes just don't click with me, but songbird does.

The only thing that could make it better was if it supported ID3v2.3 tags as well as the newer ID3v2.4 tags. Aside from that it either has everything I want or well have in future updates.
