The sidebar is the only portion of your wiki which appears on every page. It is often used for navigation, i.e. a list of links to important pages in your wiki.
There should be an 'Edit the sidebar' (or '[edit]') link at the bottom of the sidebar; cllicking this link will edit the 'Sidebar' page.-
