Thank you for your response. It looks like i have a lot of requests to make since I have 3 of the top add-ons and none of them automatically hide. Maybe it's time for me to learn how to do some of this stuff for myself.

I'd like to use songbird for a browser of all the music websites, but I want the sidebar to automatically hide when I'm on a tab that isn't the Library.

Are you installing a completely fresh firefox, with no addons whatsoever? If not, that is what I recommend doing and reinstalling addons one at a time for a while until you find out what is causing the problem.

outlook 2007 password prompt

We have a few users on our domain on windows XP using office 2007. Every time they login they are prompted again with a password, and after each user launches outlook it prompts them again.

Save password doesn't seem to be working and I've made sure that they are using TCP connections and edited the registry for the AppData thing. Nothing seems to fix it and both users started having this problem yesterday morning.

We have a WAN set up and our exchange 2007 server is in another office, and the users are prompted to accept 2 security alerts after the login prompt in outlook. This isn't a critical issue, just an annoyance.

I think that people leaving iwantsandy would be more interested in something free. Rememberthemilk has taken its place for me. There is also a pay one (24/year or something) that has some added features, but the free one seems to be doing exactly what i was needing from sandy. It also shows tasks on google calendar, and has blackberry and iphone apps available. – Todd Jones, on January 09, 2009 20:31

It seems that the problem is almost always some 3rd party add-on. But thanks for helping us out anyway :)
