Next time pay with American Express. If Tom Tom refuses tto refund, complain to Amex and they will reverse the charges if Tom Tom doesn't respond to your complaint...and as we can see, the probablity that they will respond is pretty low. – T. Holovini, on July 07, 2009 05:07

The answer to Tom Tom is to buy their product via American Express. I they wont honor their CONTRACT (i.e. warranty.) Notify AMEX and they will reverse the charges if TomTom can not give a reasonable explanation why they wont honor their CONTRACT. Pass this on to everyone.
