To articulate; the information heirarchy or lack there of makes it difficult to take actions on the items in my account--the primary reason I have logged in! On the home screen of my account it shows: Webmail, Calendar, Connections, Auctions all of which are services I don't use. The main area of my account home page should lead me to the things I can take action on.

The other major issue I have is that the entire user interface is geared towards selling more service to me rather than letting me manage my existing service. For instance when logged in I can click the second level navigation item "Domains" under "My Products" and I get a list of additional services I can add to my account rather than a list of actions I can take to manage my domains.

So while the company may have gone through "countless rounds" of usability test, it's hard for me to think that they were geared towards selling rather than enabling – tait, on February 17, 2009 20:43
