TalkShoe FAQ replied on May 02, 2008 22:16 to the question "How do I invite someone to join my community call?" in TalkShoe:
In order to Invite someone to join your community call, you will need to add them to the contact list for that show (first adding it to your contact list in myTalkShoe).
After adding it to the contact list in myTalkShoe, you will need to add it to that Community Call's contact list, by going to the invite section of the Call Series page and adding Contacts over to the invite list.
After doing so, you would follow the instructions below to send the invites.
1. Sign in and go to your Call Series page.
2. Click the "Invite Guests"
3. Click "Send to all on Invited List" or "Send to New Invites only"
4. You will get a conformation stating that the invite has been sent.

TalkShoe FAQ replied on May 02, 2008 22:07 to the question "What's a host?" in TalkShoe:
We use the term "host" to someone who controls a Community Call. The host of a given call chooses the topic, creates the call, schedules episode(s), and invites guests. They also get to choose if the call is public (so that anyone on the website can join) or unlisted (so that only invited friends, family, or associates can participate). Each of these Community Calls have names, descriptions, starting times, durations, etc. Once the call begins, the host has additional recording, muting and call and chat features to help moderate the live call.

TalkShoe FAQ replied on May 02, 2008 22:03 to the question "How do I host my own Community Call?" in TalkShoe:
Anyone can host their own Community Call. Here's how to get started:
1. First, click on the green "Create" button towards the top of the page. You'll then have the option to either schedule a new episode for an existing call, or create a whole new call series/show.
2. During this create process, you'll be able to add title and descriptions to your call, choose it's default length, choose whether you'd like it to be a public call or an unlisted one and invite other people to join in via email. You'll also need to fill out the information for the call series if it's new.
3. As a host, we recommend you use the TalkShoe Live! Pro software available for download here, because of it's added featuress.
4. When your call goes live, launch TalkShoe Live! (Pro OR Web) by clicking on the appropriate button on the call page. You can find the call page under "My TalkShoe" or in the directory. Once you launch the TalkShoe Live! software, you'll be able to mute and unmute chatters and callers, and record your call. And if you're using the downloadable TalkShoe Live! Pro, you'll be able to see who's talking, too!
TalkShoe FAQ set one of TalkShoe FAQ's replies as an official response to "what is the difference between a community call and a community call episode?" in TalkShoe
TalkShoe FAQ replied on May 02, 2008 21:58 to the question "what is the difference between a community call and a community call episode?" in TalkShoe:
The community call is the actual "show or call" in which episodes would fall under. For example, You create a community call named "The Art of Winemaking". That is the "show or call".
The episodes are the actual MP3s that belong to the Community Call. Say you create an episode named, "red wine" or "buying grapes". Those episodes would fall under the "The Art of Winemaking" community call.
These episodes will be located on the Call Series page on TalkShoe.
