I'm not seeing it. The options for a tweet that I see are "reply retweet star and ?" Am I overlooking it? – Tanya, on December 04, 2009 11:38

Duplicates in Austin
Stubb's

Daily Juice Hyde Park

Is adding to this thread the best way to let you know about dupes? If you want to make me a superuser, I'm happy to flag too. Whatever works :-)

check-ins not posting to web site feedMy check-ins don't seem to be posting to the web site? App on my is working, but I don't see my last couple venues in my feed.

I like this idea. I'm accustomed to random people who @ me showing up in my main timeline since I used Twitterific for such a long time. – Tanya, on October 01, 2009 00:22

Translate tweetAdd a "translate" link and translate a tweet inline. Similar to Mixero.

Hmmm, if I became mayor of my local HEB, maybe I could demand that they always have fresh *whole wheat* tortillas and reserve a box of strawberry popsicles for me so I don't have to try and make do with the tangerine.
Ah, Foursquare née Dodgeball, you've come a long way since you were just some NYU kids' drinking game. – Tanya, on September 12, 2009 00:56
A comment on the idea "Viewing all mayors" in foursquare:
You could fix that and probably make it more meaningful by offering "view all mayors of venues you've visited." – Tanya, on September 11, 2009 20:17

It gave me a laugh when I checked into a club late one evening and got it. Yeah, I'll have another night like that in about never.
Yes, I would've been disappointed to get it at Target, or the library or any of the other very uncrunkish places I'm the mayor of. They need a badge that's the opposite of crunked. – Tanya, on September 11, 2009 20:13
A comment on the idea "Venue Categories + Badge Requirements = win" in foursquare:
Ah gotcha. Yes, just a few fixed categories would help. I would make them fairly broad so they would be mutually exclusive since you would only assign one to a venue. Or were you thinking of being able to assign a venue to multiple categories? If the former, just being able to label a venue as 1. club/bar/restaurant, 2. shop, or 3. uh, something that covers workplaces and cultural institutions/universities would be great. Oh, plus parks and other public spaces and...what am I overlooking?
In order to add them retrospectively it would be good if anyone could add it to existing venues too. – Tanya, on September 11, 2009 20:08

Tanya replied on August 22, 2009 21:47 to the question "List of badges?" in foursquare:
Well, I did figure out that I can see all the badges available on my iPhone, just not on the web site.
I think there's still a "gotta catch them all" feeling with knowing what's available. I initially asked because I thought of a couple badge suggestions, but I didn't want to make them if they already existed in some form or another.
They do tend to explain individual badges if you ask
http://getsatisfaction.com/foursquare...
Just seems like explaining them all at once on the site would be a bit less work.
I think badges in Austin (where I am) were a bit screwed up too because of SxSW, so it's been difficult to figure out what's a mistake and what's intentional.
