I had DISQUS 1.3 working just fine with WP 2.5 but since ugrading both I can't get video comments to work. They are recorded on seesmic and I see them in my seesmic sent box but the blog freezes and the comment don't appear on my DISQUS community or admin pages.

This is happening on http://thinkeextension.com and <ahref>http://www.eco2oh.com

This is a good point, I've given out my invites a while back and some other friends of mine wanted to be part of the action. Sadly I couldn't help out.

update: while i can't turn "off" the firewall on my computer here at work.. i am allowed to put in "exceptions" in the settings. so i made an "exception" of firefox, and i still get the same issue. is there a particular port that i should add? or is there another place for settings for a firewall?

again, this isn't a huge issue, but it would be nice to be able to seesmic from my work 'puter :-) thx.

is there some special setting on a windowsXP box to record in seesmic while behind a work firewall? i can record on seesmic.com on my macbookPro, but not my work machine, and it's on the same network. (both are connected to the work network using an ethernet switch) i've tried two different cameras on my work computer and both will record, but then won't give me a preview and won't save the video. (the status bar hangs on "transferring data from *.seesmic.com")

i wonder if this is a setting on my windows computer that i can change? (but i honestly don't know enough about windows machines.... ugh!) i'm assuming that this has to do with the connection, since it will record the video fine.. but then just not post it.

any ideas of what could be happening?

spectacular! that worked after a refresh/reload of my admin section. sorry.. i would have tried that earlier.. but the description in my wordpress plugin admin section said that the plugin was version "1.0"... that should probably be changed to reflect the "real" version :-)

I don't think anyone would be opposed to see what you could come up with. I would assume that we (Seesmic) are concentrating on the back end at the moment.. so tweak away...

i'm thinking about attempting to re-design the UI for the wordpress plugin (in the comments section mainly.. and making it easier for people to understand where to click in order to leave a video comment). is this something that is already "in the works" by someone (or by seesmic), or should i go forward in "tweaking". secondly, who would be interested in this revised UI for the "leave a video comment" link?

problem with posting video in wordpress 2.5(.1). it records fine, but hangs on "Please wait while Seesmic is completing the post...". the video shows up on seesmic, but never actually gets back to my page/the post.

but the weird thing is that the plugin works perfectly fine for my comments. just not in the post.
