No, you do not need to subscribe to anything to grow your group!

We allow you to upload your first 5 members to get a feel for Tatango's service. Unfortunately, we can not allow our users to upload bulk contact lists to prevent marketers and SPAMers from abusing our service. We strongly support the privacy and security of our users.

So after you have upload your first five and try out sending a message if you like, you can invite the rest of your group members via email! Check out STEP 3 under your group's Overview page. There are many ways to invite the rest of your members to join!

Our subscription packages (www.tatango.com/subscription) is for those who wish to send ad-free text messages.

A standard text message can allow a max of 160 characters. Your group text message allows a maximum number of characters formulated as follows:

160 characters - "Your Group Name" - "Sent Via Tatango.com" - Short ad = approx. 90 characters

If you upgrade to an ad-free plan (www.tatango.com/subscription) your messages will not have the ads and will have more character space.

When you designate group members as admins, you are just giving them the power to send group text messages, NOT the power to modify contacts or make changes to the group settings. The original admin (the group creator) is the only one who has full power over the group.

And no, there is no difference between a non-Tatango member admin and a Tatango member admin. Both have the power to send out group messages.

**You can, however, SHARE your Tatango group text messages to Twitter and Facebook now. It's a new feature we just launched this week!

Try it out man. When you send a group message from your account on the website, keep the "Share on Social Networks" box checked and tweet or post your message to your Facebook Profile.
