Kat Brennan replied on February 26, 2008 20:18 to the question "How do I become a TeeBeeDee Founding Member?" in TeeBeeDee:
You can become a Founding Member simply by completing your profile and making it public. We'd prefer you use your real name and photo (like we do) but that is not required for founding membership. We reserve the right to limit Founding Members and will post on the site in advance of the cut-off date, but for now, everyone is invited to become a Founding Member.

Kat Brennan replied on February 26, 2008 20:13 to the question "Why won't my postal code register in my Profile?" in TeeBeeDee:
TeeBeeDee can currently accept only postal codes that are 7 characters with no spaces and locations outside of the US are not displayed by metro area on profiles. We're working on this problem and expect to have it fixed soon. Entering your postal code is not required to become a member of TeeBeeDee.
Kat Brennan replied on February 26, 2008 20:13 to the question "What is the difference between the Experience and Interests areas of my Profile?" in TeeBeeDee:
You can use the "Experience" field in your profile to list the areas of work and life where you've got some good credentials (or valuable experience in the School of Hard Knocks). For instance, if you're an accountant, you'd list accounting there. Or if you've dealt with an aging parent, completed the master gardening course, etc., this is your place to say, "I know something about this!"
Interests are those things you're exploring, but you're not necessarily the "go-to" person on the subject. This might include pop culture, antiques, or water skiing.
The experiences and credentials of our members are what support the collective wisdom of our crowd. This is the place for you to share what you know with the rest of us.
Kat Brennan replied on February 26, 2008 20:12 to the question "Why fill out the "My Experience" field in my Profile?" in TeeBeeDee:
All over the site, people like you have accumulated a lifetime's worth of knowledge and are trading their insights and experiences. Whether you're a work coach, a world traveler, a music buff, a doctor, or a passionate gardener, you've got experience to share. This is a simple way to strut your stuff and share your credentials with other members.

Kat Brennan replied on February 26, 2008 20:11 to the question "How do I share my Profile with others?" in TeeBeeDee:
As long as you make your profile "available to all" on your Profile page, anyone can see it. You can also copy the URL in your browser's address bar at the top of your Profile page and paste that into any document or email. Anyone online can click on that link and go directly to your profile. For example, see http://www.tbd.com/profile/BettyRay.
