I have never received an email either. I have tried the resend link several times. It tells me it was sent, but nothing comes. There doesn't seem to be any way to confirm that it's being sent to the correct address. The contact link on the webpage is not very helpful. I filled out the form, but it wouldn't send it-just took me to a page telling me to see if someone else had the same problem. My username is mdaily and email is dkile@fredoniaks.com

Tech Guy484 reported a problem in Tom Tom on April 15, 2009 15:50:
TomTom refuses to honor latest map guaranteeI purchased a TomTom One 3rd edition 1 1/2 weeks ago from a Wal-Mart and installed TomTom HOME. The map update service said that the maps are 2 quarters out of date. However, when I went to Use Latest Map Guarantee, it said there were no newer maps available. I have gone round and round with their tech support, and so far they are refusing to honor their guarantee. They wanted me to send them serial number, software version, map version, etc. (which they should have already had stored in my account profile) so I did. Then they said they wanted a copy of proof of purchase. I searched for my Wal-Mart sales slip, but found that it had been discarded.
Reading over the guarantee, I noticed that it states the 30 days starts when you first use the device, so I told them they could check my TomTom account and it should show when I first registered my device. It's been 2 days since then, and I still haven't heard back from them. I have not been able to find a way to get my complaint to anyone higher up in the company.
