A comment on the update "What happened to my authority? Why don't you show any recent posts for my blog?" in Technorati:
Backlinks (Blog Reactions) are finally back! There are two listed on http://technorati.com/blogs/evangelic... – TechnoEric, on December 14, 2009 22:21

Looks like it's working -- thank you! – TechnoEric, on December 14, 2009 17:50

I'm afraid I have some bad news, Peter -- with the redesign & rearchitecture, the data set we're tracking has changed dramatically and is now much smaller. so even with our help, the data you need may no longer be available. Feel free to email me at eric at techno....com with details of what you're trying to do, and we can see what the options may be.
A comment on the problem "Blog Directory Listing Missing and Twitter Interface Dosen't Show Me" in Technorati:
The problem editing site info is one we've been working on for a long time now - there is a link to the GetSatisfaction update on that from Technorati's support page. The update's pretty old now as it's taking a long time to get working.
You're not currently in the Religion category because your feed only has snippets of your posts, so there's not enough text for our automated systems to identify as religion-oriented content. – TechnoEric, on December 14, 2009 17:05
A comment on the question "I can't claim blog, what's wrong?" in Technorati:
looks like it's working now without me needing to do anything but sending the crawlers out. I don't know if you made any changes along the way -- if you did, did you click the long button to tell us to check again? – TechnoEric, on December 14, 2009 17:00

sorry about the duplicate posts. GetSatisfaction often doesn't agree with my browser. – TechnoEric, on December 13, 2009 05:14

Hello,
Please take a look at the suggestions at http://getsatisfaction.com/technorati.... My best guess is that you are trying to log in using your email address when you need to use your Technorati account name – TechnoEric, on December 10, 2009 23:10

Stefano, Pedro,
I'm sorry to have to inform you that Technorati is no longer indexing non-English blogs. We are simply unable to evaluate and filter out the spam bogs in other languages, so cannot provide any reasonable authority or rankings or useful search results. This is explained at http://getsatisfaction.com/technorati... and http://technorati.com/non-english-faq

Hi Patty,
when you say 'the feed url given' -- that's the URL you told us is your feed. It's not. That's your blogger profile (click the link in your post and see) You feed URL is http://pppatty.blogspot.com/feeds/pos..., so you have to enter that into Technorati. On the "Check Caim" page where it shows the profile URL, you can edit or replace it. I know it looks all grayed out, but you can change it there. – TechnoEric, on December 10, 2009 22:41
A comment on the question "How can I claim my blog so it will be included in your blog directory?" in Technorati:
in an old post is fine, as long as the claim code is visible in your current feed. So use a recent post.
Just plain text in the post is fine – TechnoEric, on December 10, 2009 22:39

A comment on the problem "token visibilty" in Technorati:
I think if you go to technorati.com/account like the email says and scrolldown to see the claim, it explains what you need to do. You need to put it in a recent (or new) blog post so that it appears in your feed, and then click the button to tell TEcnorati to go look for it. – TechnoEric, on December 10, 2009 22:36
