A comment on the problem "Last Played Showing Future Dates" in Songbird:
i'm guessing this is the issue. to bad there are FAR to many songs for me to play to fix it. it would be nice to have a "Reset play counts/date" option to just reset a group of them. – tedrock, on October 06, 2009 22:12

A comment on the problem "Last Played Showing Future Dates" in Songbird:
yes. it only affects a 1/10 of my songs. if i play an affected song it updates to the correct date. i assume it was some kinda corruption in my library file. – tedrock, on October 05, 2009 19:58
tedrock reported a problem in Songbird on October 05, 2009 17:38:
Last Played Showing Future DatesThe last played year for about 1500 of my songs ranges from 2010 to 2030. I'm not sure when this occurred or how but I'm thinking it had something to do with organizing my library or using a watch folder.

It would be AWESOME if it told me what item so I could resolve this myself manually.
tedrock asked a question in Songbird on June 25, 2009 21:46:
Organizing your music library on every startup.I turned on the library manager and every time i start songbird it spends several minutes organizing my music library... Even if i have made ZERO changes to the library it does this. Is this normal, can it be prevented?
I have a large library and don't want to wait for it to organize so i can listen to my music.
I am running Windows Vista 64bit (fully updated)
tedrock replied on June 25, 2009 21:40 to the problem ""Unable to manage your imported or updated items, please check the Media Management folder exists and is writable."" in Songbird:
windows vista 64 bit. it does appear to be related to deleting. but i even get it when i delete playlists.
i started yesterday after i turned on the manager but hasn't happened once today. not sure if it's related but everytime i start song bird it has to organize my music library all over again. i have a large library this takes several minutes.-
