Storing email data on encrypted flash driveI use WinXP at home and Mac 10.4 at work. I have multiple Gmail accounts configured to Postbox. Now what I would like to see is, instead of actually storing email data on my PC hard drive, I would like to take it on an encrypted USB flash drive so that I will have clients installed on both the machines but I would be carrying data with me. That encryption is made by Postbox. So I plug-in the stick into the USB port, fire up Postbox, enter my password and I have my data with me all the time, even when I am traveling and don't have computer with me (presuming that Postbox portable will be available in future)
Certainly there is a big security risk, in case if you lose flash drive but has similar idea been implemented by Thunderbird (as they have portable version)?
Does Postbox considered this as a sensible idea?

Postbox user guidePostbox looks very promising email client. Since its in beta at the moment, I understand the changes made in every version but I am sure base of the application and how few things work remains same.
Hence how about making a user guide on the website. Avoid pdf versions, if possible. Just as the new version is released, update user guide accordingly. This will help in reducing time in making final version of the user guide before big release.
(And this will also help new users to start using Postbox quickly and hopefully contribute to its development by providing some good ideas)

OK, can someone explain me where this button is? I am super super frustrated. I tried searching every possible place and can't find it. Everybody says Postbox handles emails in Gmail like conversation / threaded view, by default. I don't see it. Neither can I find a way to sort like it..
I am working with version 1.0b12 (2009051123)-

compatibility of postbox filesI am curious about Postbox's compatibility with other mail clients. Postbox is a new mail client with very decent features and if all features applied very well before final release, it should have a great future.
But, taking into account loss of Thunder from Thunderbird in recent days, I am very hesitant to switch from Outlook. In a worst case scenario, Postbox developers decide to sell off their business, what are the chances that I can port my Postbox files to Outlook or Apple Mail?

How do I export song ratings to ID3 tag?I have a relatively big music collection. I took a lot of efforts to rate it, my system crashed and all ratings disappeared. Hence, I would like to export these ratings to the ID3 tag of an mp3/FLAC file.
Any solution on doing this?
A comment on the idea "Merge the FLAC + MP3 of the same song/album in library." in Songbird:
A while ago, I proposed an idea of adding a column that shows format of the audio file. Songbird employee liked the idea but asked me to get support to be considered as a feature request. I didn't bother collecting support but if its still interesting, can be undertaken as a feature request, solves OP's issue too. – teejay, on March 11, 2009 15:53

Updating media library automaticallyI am using Songbird 1.0 and I wonder if there is any possibility that every time I fire up Songbird, it scans for the new media added to the folder so that it keep my library up to date.
Thanks
