Rick Kenney shared an idea in Get Satisfaction on August 05, 2008 02:28:
Hello sticky.I was reading through the post, "Admin How To: Add FAQs to your Satisfaction site" and thinking about my own experience with Get Satisfaction and it occurred to me, it'd be awesome if admins had the ability to post a blurb at the top of the page in addition to the links at the bottom.
Ex: I know there's been some discussion about whether or not people will actually refer to a FAQ, but I think direction to them from a sticky at the top of the page makes more sense than doing so in every following/redundant post.
The chick pea is neither chick nor pea, discuss.

Rick Kenney replied on August 03, 2008 20:58 to the question "Why not all videos are downloading?" in Participatory Culture Foundation (Miro):
"First, give Miro some time to make the connection. If after a few minutes the download hasn't started, there are a number of possible causes. Most likely, the publisher of the videos you've selected is experiencing difficulties. Their video publishing connection might have been interrupted, or the video might have been published using BitTorrent but no longer has people sharing the file (check here for more details on slow/stopped bittorrent downloads).
You can try to click on the download button in a few minutes to see if the publisher's connection is back up. If you have a channel set to Auto Download and you see the message Pending Download next to each video in the channel, don't worry, videos will download shortly. Videos in pending download mode are added to the download queue and will start downloading when there is space for more downloads (there is a maximum number of downloads at a time, which is adjustable in the Settings dialog)."

Rick Kenney replied on August 03, 2008 20:45 to the idea "Descriptive Filenames for Saved Videos" in Participatory Culture Foundation (Miro):
Thanks for the great suggestion. Unfortunately, we can't execute on all the ideas that come our way for a number of different reasons.
We do try to do what we can though.
If you would, please check out Chris Markman's post on how to recommend a feature at http://getsatisfaction.com/participat... to try to get your proposal in the development pipe.
Rick Kenney replied on August 03, 2008 20:18 to the question "Can I sync with my iTouch?" in Participatory Culture Foundation (Miro):
Right now Miro does not have direct syncing to portable devices. However, we will be working on this in future versions. In the meantime, you may be able to sync the video files themselves with a separate program.
