Mary Ann, It may be a site issue. I would recommend that you fill out a help desk form at http://www.webshots.com/page/mailer .Let them know, that other people, are having the same problem. When I uploaded the pictures, for my album "Sir Noel: In Loving Memory" ,I had no problems. When I tried to download the pictures, I got a long error message, about a header error. I agree 100 % with Rachel7119, Jim Harmon, and Chrisrod100. Since April of this year, there have been 3 or 4 stolen pictures, that were featured as the POTD. The “New Flower Pro Shots” Blog is at http://blog.webshots.com/?p=889 .The picture that is discussed was stolen from the Windows Vista Wall Paper system. The “New Desktop Client and Bug Fixes” Blog is at http://blog.webshots.com/?p=880 .A lot of questions, issues, and problems, were raised in this blog. I am glad to see this problem fixed. I would like to see vertical pictures featured. I have two vertical pictures, that were featured in the Persian Cats Channel. “Sir Noel” is at http://pets.webshots.com/photo/200131... and “Teresa and Sir Noel 3′′ is at http://pets.webshots.com/photo/289088... .The Persian Cat features is at http://pets.webshots.com/tag/persian-... .They are currently on the second line, toward the end. I have another picture above the “Teresa and Sir Noel 3′′ picture. Sometimes, vertical works better for pictures, than horizontal. That was the case, in my pictures. I would recommend that people, do what I do. Download the Desktop Client and download the pictures, that you want, for wall paper and screen savers. I am a paying member and I am staying with Webshots. All The Best, Teresa"

Twinkle Star, " http://blog.webshots.com/?p=964 Boo!" I disagree 100 % with you. A lot of members have had their pictures stolen by the right click "save as" option. The stolen pictures have been found at Webshots and at other websites, as well. I would recommend, that you do, what I do. Download the desktop client and download the pictures, that you want. 16 July, 2008 As of today, the inappropriate picture is gone. The Reptile Channel has some beautiful reptile pictures, featured. Teresa

I told a Webshots friend about this album. She has advised me that "it was full of stolen pictures and that she had flagged it." I have seen some really good sub channel pictures, that were featured, that had little or no comments. There is a serious problem, with the picture selection, that Webshots needs to fix. George, I sent this information to you, by email. I am posting it here, in case, someone has the same problem. "I have never had that problem. At work, we are not allowed to surf the internet. My Webshots is on my desktop. Can you load the CD to your desktop? The FAQ is at http://www.webshots.com/support/help/... .This is question # 1. "How do I transfer Webshots from an old computer to a new one?

For Webshots desktop save your "Webshots Data" folder to a disk. (This may require a Zip disk or CD burner, for the folder could contain many images). The "Webshots Data" folder is located in "My Documents." Once you have your new computer, copy the "Webshots Data" folder to "My Documents." When you install the Webshots software it will find the photo Collections and install them.

Locate your Collections folder for Webshots 1.0, save the Collections folder to disk. (This may require a Zip disk or CD burner) The Collections folder is usually located on your main hard drive. Open Windows Explorer.

Click on your hard drive.
Double click on the Program Files folder.
Double click on the Webshots folder. Your Collections folder is located inside your Webshots folder.
Once you have your new computer, download the Webshots Desktop.
Save the download to your desktop.
Double click on the installation file.
Copy the contents of your old Collections folder to your new Collections folder.
This will allow you to have all of your images on your new computer.

Hi George, That is a good question, but I have never had that problem. I left a message on Ethel's message board, a few months ago, about keeping this subject going, but she never answered me. That is why it is dead, but I check it, once or twice a week. Remember, the first "Bugs" blog at http://blog.webshots.com/?p=880 ?A lot of people asked questions and raised issues, that have NOT been answered by Webshots (WS). Are you a paying member or a free member? If you are a paying member, you can fill out a help desk form. In my opinion, the free members, should be able to fill out, help desk forms. Ted, That is a current issue, but the real issue is poor customer service. It has been that way, for a long time. Have you read the other subjects? When WS is having problems or going to have down time, there should be a statement about it, on the home page.

This is the help desk request, that I sent WS on Monday, February 25, 2008. "The last time, that I could download the pro dailys, was on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2008. If you check the archive for February 2008, the last pictures in there, are from February 21, 2008. When I try to download the dailys, I get this message "Oops, this

Chandra, I clear my temporary internet files, every Sunday night. Monday morning, I tried the Pro Shots again, and I had the same problem. It was on the WS side. The Pro Shots are now working, and I have downloaded them. I have been with WS since 2003. At first, I was a free member, then I switched to a paying member. I use the pictures for wall paper and screen saver. In the future, if WS is going to have down time, could you put it, on the home page? It would help us. We would know, that WS is having problems. I am a member of “The Motley Fool (TMF).” When the TMF has down time, they have it, at the top, of every page and every discussion board. As they say at the TMF, “it is the foolish thing to do.” It is also, a good business practice. WS is a wonderful website. Please DO NOT ruin it, by bad business practices. In the long run, you will lose customers, and that hurts WS, in the long run. It also, hurts AG’S investors. For the record, I am an investor, but I do not own stock in AG. I am talking to you, as a customer and an investor. Please fix your problems and make it a better website. Foolishly Yours, Teresa (TMF foolish member and investor)

Hi Martina, I cannot answer that question. The sub channels, like Utah and Tennessee, are just as slow. I am concerned that they continue to use, their favorite people. That another issue, that we need to address to WS. Teresa

Martina, I agree 100 % with you. WS should have extended the Sunrise Challenge for another week, so that the people, who were having problems, could enter the contest. That is only fair. WS failed to help people in the Walk blog, that were reporting problems, with WS. That was wrong. I am so disgusted. Teresa
