I cannot believe what I'm reading!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've had my 2003 saturn vue for 2 years. My extended warranty just ran out. I've had my vue to the same place at least 3 times, then to AAMCO and called the dealership after hearing through a verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry long grapevine that these vehicles are having massive problems with their transmissions. WOW is all I can say ..... why is this not a recall .... oh I know why! It would cost GM too much money

I tried getting the T-Mobil Dash, and was told pretty much the same thing. I could upgrade, but have have to wait until October! I've been a customer since 2004, never been late. I thought I was getting something when they were giving away the Razor Pearl; WRONG!!!! Even the free uprgrade was, nothing but grief. Then they talked me into paying for the new KRZR, not a good deal either. I stopped in one of their stores, saw the Dash and was told it probably wouldn't be going on sale, and they didn't even consider negotiating about an upgrade. I agree that they appear to be more concerned about newer customers rather than retaining the old one.

My 2003 Saturn Vue broke down on the interstate at 88,000 miles with no previous warning. Saturn of VA Beach tells me it's the transmission, and cost of replacing it will run $6000 plus labor. I took it to AAMCO, who gave an estimate just over $4000. After researching Saturn on the web, I now see nothing but problems with transmissions. Saturn was completely unhelpful and refused to acknowledge that they had sold me a lemon. Horrible experience, I will never buy Saturn or GM vehicles again. Did I mention this piece of crap has had 4 recalls serviced since 2003?

We bought a 2003 Vue new. 1,000 miles out of warranty the filler tube to the gas tank cracked. I have never heard of anyone having this occur in any vehicle. The dealer claimed we caused it by being "too rough" when fueling. After complaining and complaining about our dissatisfaction, they agreed to fix it at cost (over $100). Now the car is 4 years old and the transmission just failed and is shot. We have always completed the scheduled maintenance. The interior and exterior still look brand new. But with the costs of a new or rebuilt transmission and previous dealings with Saturn, we have decided to scrap it. I now consider myself "divorced from the Saturn family" and well never own another one or any GM product for that matter!!

i totally agree...I wanted to get a Blackberry Curve but the lowest t-mobile could offer was $240 while sites online were giving it for $70 for new customers. The customer rep told me that the deal I was getting with them was the best they could do.

T-mobile cares more about new customers than it does keeping it's current Customers
I signed on to your company in May of 2006. I have no complaints about the service and the customer service I receive from your reps. I wish to state the facts of my case in clear language so that we can get this resolved. Wal-mart is currently selling a blackberry pearl in their retail stores for FREE with a 2 year extension. I went to the t-mobile store that stated to me that they could not match their pricing for an upgrade. I was later told to perhaps try customer care. I spoke with one of T-mobile’s customer service reps and he told me in the nicest way he could that you guys will not match their prices. If this is true, this would lead me to believe that you care more about growing your business than customer retention. He told me the best you guys could do on a blackberry pearl was $99.99. I also tried to change my plan. I couldn’t do so without committing myself to another 2 year contract. Binding me to pay at least another $1500 over the next two years. If I’m going to have to shell out $1500 over the next 2 years, I should at least have the phone I want at a decent price. My only Question is why is it that you care more about gaining new customers than retaining the ones you have already?

    saturn vue transmission
I bought a 2003 Saturn VUE in December of 2005 from Saturn of Troy in Michigan. Not even six months after I bought the vehicle the head gasket blew and we had to replace it. A year and a half later, the transmission went out. I found out it will cost me $ 6000 to repair it and I owe $7700 on the vehicle. We also found out there are no cheaper options as we looked around only to find others in the same situation. Since the Transmission and repair costs are so high, the junk yard charges a higher price on used ones which in our minds isn't the best way to go about fixing the car. I have driven GM/American cars almost my whole adult life. Since I can't afford to repair the car at a decent cost, I now have to go upside down on another vehicle. My wife along with this situation is forcing over to toyota.

Soon to be former Saturn Owner,
