Tessa asked a question in Mozilla on October 13, 2009 23:50:
Firefox ignores Mac OS X remapped keybindings for control keysFirefox expects that the control keys (those that don't normally produce letters, digits or symbols) will behave the same way on all keyboard layouts, and so they respond to the key code rather than the output the keyboard layout produces. For example the enter key will always be treated as an enter key.
The OS X supports remapping your keyboard to custom layouts, it would be great if Firefox (and other Mozilla products such as Thunderbird) respected these key bindings for control keys as well.-

I'd vote for the ability to run arbitrary Applescript from a email filter / rule – Tessa, on April 06, 2009 19:42
