Fraser - great news!
I deleted iPhoto Library file in the Pictures folder and created a new one in iPhoto. This severed the link with the remote server where I had originally imported my pictures from.
FlickrExport is now working a treat.
Thanks for all your help investigating this. The problem clearly lies in the application not being able to access the pictures on a remote drive at all times.
Happy Christmas.

It is a standard new MacBook 13 inch out the box however you've reminded me that the photo library is linked to my network storage (a buffalo box) at home. Perhaps it is trying to access that when it uploads the pictures.
Do you know how to disassociate a particular directory from iPhoto? I think that might help.

Could not see any errors in Console.app other than the forced quit I have to do when I need to get rid of iPhoto once I have initiated the Export to Flickr via your app.
Everything works fine to that point as you will see from the screen grabs. It logs into Flickr fine - downloads the tags and groups info but as soon as you hit Export the dialog comes up about the server error.
Then I get a spinning "rainbow" mouse icon and can't do anything.

This is the error message again:

Fraser,
Thanks for the prompt response - it is appreciated.
I've tried again this morning (on a different connection) and still no joy. This is the third different connection I have used and in all other cases I have been able to access the Internet and do uploads on the own-brand Flickr Uploader.
Could you let me know how I de-install your plug in from i-Photo so I can reinstall it and try again?
Many thanks.

FlickrExport says "connection failed" / "server may not exist"
Hi there,
I purchased your Flickr plug-in today and unfortunately it is not working. I have attached a screen grab of the problem I am having. Utter nightmare as I spent over an hour labeling and tagging pictures and the app just seems to have crashed.
My Internet connection is working fine so I have no idea why it is not working.
Hope you can help.
