Thanks for the quick reply Perry! No, I don't have Embassy Security Suite installed. The only other security-related software running real-time is Comodo Firewall Pro, but I checked the logs and there doesn't seem to be anything related happening there.

Counterspy V.3 error - Subsystem: Scan Control, Description: Could not complete scanI've had this problem ever since upgrading to V3. I've tried uninstalling and doing a clean install, I've tried disabling, then removing my antivirus (Kaspersky v7), and reinstalling counterspy. All defs and programs have been updated.
I get the error on automatic or manual scans, quick scans, or deep scans. It does not fail on the same file each time, sometimes it runs longer, sometimes shorter, but I can't get a scan to complete without getting this error.
The counterspy event llog shows the error as (Event: Error, Subsystem: Scan Control, Description: Could not complete scan.) As a programmer, I must add that's not a very helpful error message - sounds like a general error trap.
