I agree about the straightening piles thing. The first thing that my slightly OCD mom said when i was showing off bumptop was "straighten those piles, they're driving me nuts!"

So i know they're driving away all the slightly OCD people. Even i would like to at least have the ability to straighten them if i want. In the original video you could.

I know for me personally, as much as i love bumptop, i would never pay 30 dollars for it. well, there's about a 20% chance. But the thing is, if it were $20, it would jump up to a 65 or 70% chance that i would buy it. And i know that probably goes for a lot of people. But especially because you're jumping from a free version, paying $30 for three new features just doesn't seem plausible.

So just think. If you sold it for twenty, more people would probably buy it. I know that i would definitely consider it. if it stays 30 dollars, when my beta period expires, if i get annoyed at the lack of features, i will probably go back to my boring 2d desktop with ObjectDock. because that's free.

oh, really? they already released the public version! wow! hmm, i didn't know that. Well then, i may have to decide whether i'm upgrading to pro sooner than i thought. Well i won't be downloading any "updates" before i have to in that case.

Yes, but i can still make more than two stickies and flip through my piles. and the reason that i thought that i would stay pro is that Anand Agarawala said in his announcement two days ago that "Beta users will remain Pro until May 1, 2009. After that it'll seamlessly bump you down to the Free version." so i thought that an upgrade would be an upgrade. It's not that big a deal, i'm just confused.

Bumptop Widgets in general would be AWESOME. The thing i miss most when using bumptop is my rainlendar and my yahoo widgets. If there was a calendar and a clock, and a battery meter, i would be all set.

Why was my upgrade a downgrade? I thought that i was pro until May, but then when i downloaded the "upgrade" it made it so my frequently used icons don't grow anymore! I'm a bit upset, but fortunately, that feature wasn't my favorite, so it won't be too missed, but still.

OH I AM A TOTAL FREAKING IDIOT!!!! that's what i get for not reading emails. Thanks for the feedback, you guys rock, thank you for the quick response to solve an easy problem. I am a humongous fan of bump top, i tried Real Desktop and Shock Desktop 3d, and i'm sure this will blow those out of the water. The email does contain my code, and now i will be able to use it!!! I am really impressed with the customer service, and again, I'm a moron, and you guys rock. But now i have to decide between the happy face and the silly face. I choose happy!
