We would like to help you. Streaming video is very touchy on our service, however, due to the method we use to send packets, but I would like to try and help improve your service if I can. Could you leave me a contact email address so I can get ahold of you? – Jennifer, on September 04, 2008 05:10

I agree with the other comments, I have had Clearwire (in the downtown Seattle area) for over a year and can not get out of my contract without a very hefty fee. Although the wireless modem shows 2-4 lights (out of five lights; this, via Clearwire, this means I have a usable signal) I have extremely scattered service, and very seldom am able to actually use their signal (I constantly need to reboot, unplug their wireless modem, reconnect my wireless router, etc). Clearwire customer service keeps giving me the runaround and refuses to acknowledge any problems with their hardware/signal.
My only Internet access since I started using Clearwire has been to go to the local coffee shop and use their free service (sad, right?). I know a couple other people with Clearwire, and they have been actually receive and use the signal, but have been very disappointed with the speed (or lack thereof).
I have a 2 year contract with Clearwire, and should have canceled within the first few months. Unfortunately I didn't (for no good reason other than figuring they would get it to work eventually), and now am just waiting for my contract to end.

Hi, and thanks for the comment!
What's happening is that the music player has cached a few songs before you hit 'pause', so when you come back, those songs get played. But the "inactive time out" has already occurred, so you get the message after those songs play.
We might address this in the future... thanks for your feedback!

Player sleeps after unpausingWhen I pause Pandora for a while and come back, Pandora plays a few songs and then goes to sleep, asking me if I am still there. I think that the inactive time should reset when you unpause. Unpausing should count as you being active. Thanks!

I hope you haven't switched yet! We live in downtown Seattle, and Clearwire is
horrible here. The plan we're on promising up to 2.0 Mb download/256k upload speeds, but we rarely get anywhere close to that. A lot of times, we can't even get basic web pages to load. Forget about streaming. It's like being back in the early days of the internet, watching web pages load one pixel at a time. Customer support hasn't exactly been helpful either.-

thaiyoshi asked a question in Google on July 02, 2008 06:06:
How many feeds is too many (to load)? Is there a critical mass of feeds where reader slows down a lot? I have 894 feeds which I've built up gradually and just recently I've been having trouble getting Reader to load any feeds. I have this problem connecting from different places. I organize all of my feeds in folder, and my default one has about thirty feeds.
I'm mostly just curious. I wouldn't mind cleaning up some if it would fix it. Just wondering if there was a magic number or ballpark.
